We had a terrific move with Remarkable from Manhattan to Brooklyn. It's always nerve-wracking putting all of your possessions into the care of strangers, but the team of movers was friendly, efficient, and careful with all of our stuff. ..

Remarkable wasn't the lowest cost of everyone we called, but they sent someone over to our house to give an official estimate and made me feel comfortable that we wouldn't end up being charged extra after all of our stuff was on the truck (that's happened to people I know before). Plus they were willing to come down a bit in price to make the deal. I felt like I got a reasonable price for moving a lot of stuff...

Our four movers--David, Danny Silver., Robert Dino, and Jerome Robinson--did a terrific job. Plus they were a great group of guys! They took great care with all of our furniture and wrapped everything very well, plus brought their own wardrobe boxes and packed up our hanging clothes and bedding for us.

We really weren't fully prepared or packed for this move, but the Remarkable team made it easy. I had expected them to tell me they couldn't move some things because they weren't included in the original estimate, but they did it all...

We hired REMARKABLE MOVERS ------ 718-627-9292 – THE BEST BROOKLYN MOVERS. Packing team to pack our 3100 sq ft home. Amazingly, they finished by lunch. They confirmed the appointment for 7:00AM, in advanced, and arrived early! They charged an hourly fee, but the client gets to start the clock----- they unloaded the packing materials, got organized, toured the home, and discussed our special needs before starting the clock. The team of 3 movers carefully and quickly packed the entire home. Besides being careful, they asked appropriate questions about how to label boxes, how we wanted clothes packed (folded or hung); they used some of our left-over packing materials. They were very precise in charging us for the amount of packing material. IT WAS A PLEASURE TO HAVE ALL THE PACKING DONE QUICKLY AND PROFESSIONALLY!!! The Moving Team was equally quick and efficient. As a woman, having trustworthy movers is even more important because I don't want to feel uneasy with strange men in my home. All of the 4 movers, that were on our moving crew, were the most amazing guys. Remarkable Movers were all extremely friendly, trustworthy and spoke perfect English (native English speakers). Even though my husband was with me during the move, I would have felt 100% okay if I were alone with any of the guys on the moving crew. This was important to me since I have had dodgy movers in the past and I was so happy with the professionalism, trustworthiness and friendliness of all of the guys at Remarkable Movers. Also, when we were done unpacking, the owner of the company came back out to our new home and collected all of the packing supplies that we had used. This was excellent because this way we did not have to find a way to dispose of them (although if you want to keep them, you can purchase what you want from them). The move itself was perfect: The crew showed up right on time and got straight to work. They were extremely speedy and this move was very quick which made us happy since we chose to pay by the hour. We have had bad experiences in the past when paying by the hour that the guys would take a lot of breaks to draw out the move in order to make us pay more but there was none of that with Remarkable Movers! They were very quick and drove straight to our new address and unloaded even quicker than they had packed everything up! The driver of the van knew our city very well and he found our new home perfectly!

For my third move in New York, I was fortunate enough to find a Living Social deal for 1/2 off two hours about 2 weeks before I was slated to move.

Great timing.

They called ahead to ask if they could come a little early, which was great for me, because I was just waiting for them. When they showed up, I was surprised when I let them in - I think I told them they were the coolest looking movers I'd ever seen. They were even very helpful with the furniture I was still taking apart when they got there. One of the movers (Mike) started singing beautiful songs while working. It was one of those beautiful New York moments I had to tweet about.

They wrapped all my stuff in blanket and plastic, it took them less time than they estimated; they helped me put back together my heavy furniture before they left, and were completely delightful the whole time. Very personable, nice guys.

I'd recommend Remarkable Movers to anyone who has to move.

Hands down I had a great experience with New York Movers – Remarkable Movers. I was able to schedule a Saturday move with less than 1 week's notice, and even piggy back off of another friend moving on the same day from BK to Manhattan to save everyone time.

Price/Quotes: They offered me flat rate which I strongly preferred. Their price comparable to other companies that only offered hourly rates (based up on expected moving time) and very reasonable, but instead of a 3-man crew I got 4 men! 4 moving ninjas. I found the online quote form great to really help you understand how much stuff you REALLY have.

I moved from a 3rd floor walk up to a 5th floor walk up. Mover's nightmare, but these moving ninjas took it in stride and were great.

They came 1.5 hours early! Luckily I was ready to get moving, but if I wasn't they seemed like it would have been no big deal to wait until my official starting time. My entire 1 bedroom apartment was loaded up and in the truck in just over an hour. How the hell did they do that? I spent hours of the last week just packing!

They wrapped up my furniture and were careful with all my belongings. Not at any point did I feel uncomfortable with how they were treating my stuff. Upon move-in, they tackled 4 flights of stairs with a great attitude and were still able to crack some jokes. Even though I offered food, etc., they only accepted some water and Gatorade throughout the day.

I'd highly recommend New York Movers – Remarkable Movers for anyone moving. Screw paying friends with pizza and beer - it's so worth the cost, and instead of taking a long day to move, it's done in an afternoon. I had to leave my apartment by the 13th last month and I didn't have a moving company till the 6th, I needed to find a company and fast. It took me a little to find the right guys but eventually I did. The job was well planned very simple and organized. Everything was set up correctly and was done in a professional manner. I called Brooklyn Packers - Movers after being referred to them by a close friend that had "The best moving experience ever!" With out a doubt my moving experience was as well. The guys Casey, Travis and James were strong, fast, polite, real expert movers. They padded and shrink wrapped all of my furniture, and used dollies and lifting straps I have never seen, state of the art equipment that made my move go that much faster. My move was completed faster than I would have dreamed, they placed all of my items where I needed them to be. I really appreciate the good character and hard work of Brooklyn Packers - Movers , I will recommend them to you and anyone else!

They moved my family for a house on Long Island to Brooklyn. 6 guys in two trucks packed to the brim! They were very fast, very careful and actually came in slightly UNDER their estimate. Steve the foreman was great and the guys worked really hard lumping some really heavy stuff up and down a lot of flights. I also used them to move my office and they were great again. They had to move cubicles (including dissassembly and reassembly) and were more than $400 less than other quotes. The move in was after 6pm and they handled it perfectly. Highly recomended.
